The Director of Development for AS-DISCO project, Rafael Ortiz, participated in the International Conference organized by EASN in Salerno (Italy) between September 5 and 8. EASN is the European Aeronautical Sciences Network, an open association that establishes academic networks in aeronautical and space research to, among other objectives, disseminate knowledge, new technologies and innovation.
There, together with members of the UMA, Rafael presented their joint work “An event-driven link-level Simulator for validation of AFDX and Ethernet avionics network” developed as part of the H2020 CleanSky2 AS-DISCO project.
The event also gave the opportunity to scientists and researchers from all over the world to present their recent achievements in a series of thematic sessions, organized by internationally recognized scientists.
Furthermore, the conference has been a major European Dissemination and Exploitation event of Aviation & Space related research, as it provided a forum for presenting their activities and achieved goals, discussing current trends and future needs of aviation & space-related research, and trying to identify possible synergies with each other.
